The Richmond Kickers battled back to earn a 1-1 draw against Portland Hearts of Pine at City Stadium. ⚽️
After trailing 1-0 at halftime, Richmond came out firing in the second half, controlling nearly 60% of possession and creating chance after chance. Owen O’Malley provided the spark, setting up Josh Kirkland for the 74th-minute equalizer.
Darwin Espinal was a constant threat throughout the night, recording a match-high six shots, while Yann Fillion came up huge late with a crucial stoppage-time save to preserve the point.
