Richmond Kickers Unveil The Crossing Kit

The Richmond Kickers unveiled the club's 2026 primary kit to the public today, called The Crossing Kit.
The red and white shirt contains a silhouette of triangles, representing Richmond's unique landmark of rail infrastructure, the Richmond Triple Crossing. The crossing is one of just two places in the United States where three railroads intersect, located just across the canal between downtown and Shockoe Bottom at South 16th and Dock Streets.

The crossing has become a symbol of Richmond's ties to the railways that shaped its growth. It is also the namesake of Triple Crossing Beer, the beloved local brewery with three locations around the city. The brewery has been a partner with the Richmond Kickers over the last two years, hosting watch parties and season ticket holder events, and having its flagship beers served at City Stadium.
However, due to Virginia ABC laws regarding apparel, the brewery is not able to be a kit sponsor. Therefore, the kit leans into the railroad aspect of the Triple Crossing name.
Alex Kocher of Easy Friday Co. designed the kit, after leading the club's rebrand in 2025 and the Richmond Ivy's branding in 2024. It is part of a shift by the club to pursue a stronger connection to the city of Richmond, taking advantage of kit maker Hummel's resources and flexibility in design.
In addition to the tonal triangle pattern on the kit, the custom jocktag shows the names of the three original railroad companies that used the crossing, Chesapeake & Ohio, Seaboard Railway and the Southern Railway.

Similar to last year's blue City Kit, The Crossing Kit has a rib-knit polo collar and is available in both short and long sleeves.
Season Ticket Holders were treated to a preview of the kit last Wednesday at Triple Crossing's Fulton location. Reactions seemed to be overall positive, with some fans cursing only the fact that they would be buying another kit.
The event also saw the debut of Triple Crossing's new Kickers Ale, an "Xtra Pale Ale" coming in at 4.5% ABV. The hazy but crushable drink is slated to become the flagship beer for the team, and will be served at City Stadium along with all three Triple Crossing locations.

The kit is now available for purchase through the team's online store, and will be available at the team store at the stadium. Richmond's kits start at $93 this season.
